Thermo Baked Acrylic Primer Coated Lead Sheet- the Versatile Flashing

Acrylead had a unique thermobaked high quality Acrylic Primer Coating which leaves it ready for colour matching with a 100% acrylic roof paint. With the increasing demand for external character in domestic and industrial building design, the use and performance in flashings and weatherings is a major consideration. Lead sheet still leads the field as the dependable flashing material to prevent rainwater from entering a building at junctions between materials and surfaces and around today's myriad of roof mounted appliances and penetrations.

Environmentally Compatible
Ever mindful of the environment DLM have developed a unique thermo baked acrylic primer coating process for lead sheet. The primer coating is applied to the major sheet surface area, severely inhibiting the contact of water with the lead and its oxides, thus reducing the run off potential of lead entering groundwater systems. The thermo baking process ensures the primer coating is bonded to the lead sheet substrate.

Aesthetically Pleasing
Acrylead allows you to improve the look of exposed flashing by finish coating to match roof or surrounding materials. Acrylead has a primer coating and whilst it can withstand the elements in its own right, we recommend that you top coat with conventional acrylic roof paints to improve the appearance of your flashing and to maximise the protection that Acrylead gives against potential lead run off.

Acrylead is the only apron / abutment flashing on the market that can meet and exceed the 50 year warranty offered by Concrete Tile, Clay Tile and Slate Tile Manufacturers, and is a must for compliance with E2 / AS1 Conforms to AS1804-1976
